Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp has been a popular actress for many years. Her birthplace was in Phoenix Arizona in the United States on July 16th 1991. In 2012, she portrayed a role as Victoria Justice's guest on Victorious. The first time she appeared on stage was 2009 with a small role on Alvin and the Chipmunks - The Squeakquel. She went on to star in the third season of Nickelodeon's crime teenage drama House of Anubis playing the character of KT Rush. Shipp gained attention during 2014, when she played Dani Raymond as the sequel to Drumline: A New Beat on VH1 and Aaliyah as the lead character in the Lifetime series Aaliyah: A Princess of R&B. Shipp sang the track in her final role. In addition to playing the Ice Cube character Kimberly Woodruff she starred in Straight Outta Compton a biographical-drama film about the career of N.W.A. She co-starred with Halle Berry in Bryan Singer's 2016 superhero film X-Men: Apocalypse. Ororo was a mutant that controlled the weather, previously depicted as Storm as played by Halle Berry. In 2018, Nick Robinson, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. were on the screen in Love Simon. Kathryn Prescott was also featured in Dude. James is her older brother. She was Danielle Dani Raymond (a fictional character) in the TV film Drumline A New Beat from 2014. Alexandra Ruth Shipp (born July 16 1991) is a American actor, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist who rose to notoriety for playing the role of a real-life musician Aaliyah in the Lifetime TV film Aaliyah: the Princess of R&B (2014) as well as Kimberly Woodruff in the Oscar-nominated film Straight Outta Compton (2015).
