Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor since November 11, 1996. Her debut in a feature film was in a minor part on The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan donavan was featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. The result was a successful modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was extremely determined not to do the glamorous work or doing nude. This rule extended into the acting profession. She accepted a small role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was spotted by the director who cast her. Doody made an appearance in John Willis Screen World Volume 2 as one of 12 promising new actors for 1986. 38. She first appeared in the film Taffin alongside Pierce Brosnan. Next, she portrayed the role of Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist and Nazi-sympathizer opposite Harrison Ford. Doody acted alongside Sean Connery, who played Indy's father. Doody was in the British mini-series Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. It was based on the Hitler Diaries publication scam. When she moved to Hollywood Doody made her an international star. The choice was made to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokeswoman for L'Oreal She went on to perform alongside Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II as Flannery the agent's girlfriend. Doody's return to the big screen came in 2003. Michael Caine played Doody in an uncredited role. She was in the film together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Doody was part of Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). The Clinic, a medical drama that aired on RTE. The Asphyx was her 2011 remake. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she starred as Pam Jefferson in We Still Kill the Old Way. Almeria film award, tierra de cine, and an Almeria Walk of Fame star were awarded on the 21st November 2018.
